Nice place with a great market place where you can pick up jewellry, bedding, clothes for very little! Go up the side streets for good shops......

Nearby is the Prince's Palace where the Royal family spend their vacations, you can walk around, it is interesting to see the history of it, and some original beds can be seen! I found it intriguing how small their beds were!
We were fortunate that some students who were studying English, asked if we would accompany them to the Palace so that they could sit their verbal exam in front of their tutor (using their learned English on us!) so it was terrific to help them get through that nerve racking day, and we also got to see the Palace free and learn alot more through these students! We are still in touch by e mail with these pupils, and they made our day so very interesting, and they treated us like VIP guests! They all live in Hua Hin and also showed us around their home town too! We were so lucky to have met them!

No matter where in Thailand I may be, I just adore the Thai people!
