Advantages: Clean friendly helpful

Disadvantages: Awkward parking at some sites

We have been going to various John Fowler Parks for the last 14 years or so. Ilfracombe was the first, which was perhaps a little too large and busy for us. Coombe Martin was pretty dull. However Widemouth Bay and Perran view were both excellent holidays.
At all the sites that we have been to the accomodation, both chalet and caravan, has been very clean and provides just about all the basics that you will need. (If you want five star accomodation go to a five star hotel).
Our daughter loved the Foxy Club until she was about eleven. The two sessions each day provided a mass of children with a wide variety of activities to keep them interested throughout the week.
At all levels the staff were both very friendly and helpful and any problem that you may encounter with your accomodation was dealt with very quickly.
The bar food and take-away provides the not surprising array of fast food options that you will find on any holiday park. We tend to use the park as a base and mostly eat out at the variety of pubs and restaurants which can be found within easy reach.

It works for us. Credit crunch permitting we will be there again in 2009.

Summary: It works for us
