We have just come back from jfh in coombe martin...WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! Don't ever go!!! I have many pictures to prove what a hole we were staying in, we came home after 2 days...We stayed in a bronze caravan where there was mould near the shower, the ceiling was peeling off near the front door, there were dog hairs in the carpet (we don't own a dog!) the carpet was filthy, the caravan was covered in moss, there were holes in the net curtains (from either cigarettes or moths?) The lino in the kitchen had been damaged at some point and then NAILED back down! The bar area was naff and whilst i was watching the kids in the pool the lifeguard was having a fag!!! and then proceeded to flick his fag nub on the grass where a child could have easily stood on it!!!I didn't want to sit on the disgusting chairs around the pool because I don't think they had been cleaned for at least 3 seasons!!
We weren't the only ones that were shocked by the state of things either.
we were also at the top of a very very very steep hill and it was a trak to get anywhere so we decided to walk down the very very very steep hill to go into combe martin to have a nice meal.... OH DEAR! There was only 3 restaurants, you needed to book for one because the other 2 were that bad! So we ended up having chippy!
We had to drive everywhere...Ilfracombe was 5 miles away and woolacombe was 10 miles away......
Very dissapointed cost us £575 for 1 week needless to say I will deffinatley be complaining and if no result will deffinatley be taking things further with the pictures I have got.

Summary: PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE
