Widmouth Bay never again! (John Fowler Holiday Parks)
Member Name: Katie
Advantages: Dog Friendly Disadvantages: where do i start! We booked a holiday at Widmouth Bay Holiday park (john Fowler) as our main holiday this year. We chose to camp, this was a big mistake. The site was dirty and all tent pitches were on a hill. When booking this holiday i thought John Fowler Holidays had a good name for being clean and more up market than other holiday parks, please dont be mistaken by this its not true. The toilets on the site were a 15 minute there and back round trip. The club house, shop and swimming pool was situated down a very steep hill so we ended up staying at the tent in the evenings. The toilets and showers were also filthy due to the amount of people having to use them at all hours of the day. The Toilets were cleaned once daily, we feel that this should of been cleaned more often. There were twelve showers altogether on the site for hundreds of people! I will never return to this park but i will return to the area as the beachs surrounding are very nice and also Bude is a lovely place to be. The beaches are Dog friendly aswell which was brilliant for us as our dog comes everywhere with us. Summary: I would not return to this park |
