Kampong Saom

This may sound quite strange but Sihanoukville ( also known as Konpong Som ) has been described as Cambodia?s? Riviera. Given the countrys? recent history this may sound a rather large stretch of the imagination. But..but..but, when you start to analyse it, it?s not too strange a comparison. They are both on the south coast of their respective countries, they are both home to the wealthy, rich, powerful and they are both beach areas.
