Kazimierz Dolny is a small town in the Pulawy region of Eastern Poland, located in a valley by the meandering Wisla river, between Lublin and Pulawy. Kazimierz Dolny is a popular tourist attraction, frequented in the summer by groups of school kids - I hadn't found time to visit it until recently when I was in the area and decided to pop along on a cold autumn's day. The population of the village is 3,500 but I imagine that a fair amount of those people work or study outside of the village as it was fairly quiet when I visited.
