The name of the place "Macau" originated from the goddess of "A-Ma". It used to be a Portuguese colony. In 1999, it is handed back to China again. It is made up of the Macau peninsula, the islands of Taipa and Coloane. General: Famous for being Monte Carlo of the East. All kinds of gambling can be found. Most famous for the Grand Prix Car Racing. Several new casino are opened, attracting more and more tourists. Geniune Portuguese cuisine can be found. Culture: A fusion of East & West.
