Advantages: Very cheap, great beaches, plenty of entertainment

Disadvantages: none

Magaluf is the known place for the younger travellers. It is full of bars at every corner on every strip, each with a good standard of entertainment every night during the summer season.
Even during the months in which most places are closed, such as January through to April, there are still plenty of bars and clubs which are open, both for youngsters and families. These include the famous Prince William bar and the Eastenders bar. They have good entertainment all throughout the night, including DJs and kareoke.
During the summer there are many groups of people within the area covering the beaches during the day and on the streets and bars at night.
Night clubs such as BCM, being one of the biggest hold regular events such as foam parties, water parties and popcorn parties, as well as leading DJs performing such as DJ Sammy and Tiesto. BCM also has an all-inclusive policy in which all drinks come included in the ticket price.

Within Magaluf during the day, there are also numerous attractions for anyone. There are two major water parks, in which are easy to access via the bus services, as well as an Aquarium.

The beaches are all golden sand and clear water with beautiful views. There are many hotels which have good prices and entertainment within themselves also.

Shopping in Magaluf and Palma Nova can be limited, as there are many small spanish shops followed by many liquor and tobacco shops. All of these however are very cheap making it a very cheap holiday. However if you wish to do more shopping there are regular buses to the capital of Majorca being Palma.

This is a highly reccommended area for anyone looking for sun and fun, especially teenagers within the summer.

Summary: A great holiday for mainly youngsters, but still great for family out of season.
