A short bus ride away for a couple euros is the glamorous destination of Marbella!Expensive and classy with large boats in the harbour belonging to wealthy people, it was like Caines! The food there was fantastic, plenty of shops for everyone and the perfect opportunity to stock up on my Spanish grands Zara and Mango. I was surprsied at how reasonable the prices were, still cheaper than the UK. Definately worth a day trip or two! If you like sandy beaches then Fuengirola is the place to go! Malaga! Situated in the south of Spain where the sun is always shinning. I went to Malaga with my family a few years ago. We were fortunate enough to rent out a family friends villa for our stay. The first problem we faced was telling the non-English speaking taxi driver where our villa was. We ended up driving around in circles for hours and by the time we got there in was in the early hours of the morning.This was a minor problem due to the language barrier. Malaga is a very quite resort perfect for families with children or for couples wanting to get away from the hussle and bustle. The beach was a short walk away from our villa which was very handy.
