Holidaying San Francisco
... Francisco is a city on the West Coast of the USA, in the state of California. It can be reached from the UK in one flight from major airports such as Heathrow and Gatwick, in around 12 hours. The city is known as The City on The Bay because of its setting, of course, on the bay! I took a tour of the city while I was there, and found out such interesting facts as that the temperature of the city varies little through the year, only by around 10 degrees, and I went to see the place that a famous politician (whose name unfortunately escapes me) was killed, and was told about how this led to riots in the city. Clearly, I thought, this is a city with a lot of history.....

... visited Florida many years ago now with my uncle and his wife I think I was only 12 at the time but just the other day I was looking back through some old photos which brought back some really great memories of the time I had there. Well we had set off from Newcastle International airport first ever 10 hour flight I had ever been on so I was getting quite nervous because im not really a one for flying. But during my time on the flight I just occupied myself by watching movies and listening to music so time would pass by quicker. ... trip to New York seems like a distant memory, but my visit can never be forgotton considering it was literally 4 weeks after 9/11. We were admittedly slightly apprehensive about going and did consider cancelling the trip altogether, but it was a little too late to rearrange everything and we wanted to make the most out of it. Due to the timing of our flight, we had to stay at one of the many airport hotels at Heathrow. I didnt get a fantastic nights sleep and spent most of it on the floor because the bed was so hard.
