senagambia beach hotel - Advantages: clean & freindly staff that are allways helpfull, fantastic wildlife especially the birds, local guides outside the hotel are brilliant - Disadvantages: some locals can be a nusance asking for money, they are called bumsters by locals, only vodaphone mobiles work in this area, rooms can be a bit basic

The SeneGambia Hotel is not the most luxurious in The Gambia nor is it the cheapest but it does have some unique advantages. It can cater for several hundred guests in a variety of rooms from suites to African style huts. The latter are not used in the summer. Some of the standard rooms are a little sparse and not all are air-conditioned. The hotel has the usual facilities – restaurants, bars pool etc. The pool is adequate but could get crowded in High Season.
