Chamonix is a small French town sitting r ight beneath Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. In the heart of the largest peaks of the French Alps, it is of course a top winter resort with guaranteed snow and a variety of slopes offering something for every grade of skier or snowboarder.
