Kadirs Tree Houses.

Kadirs Tree Houses was shown as a documentary on the television some time ago. And at the time I wondered if it was the type of holiday I would go on. Although the documentary was good I feel that it lacked detail and the true amenities that would be available.
In some respects for some it would be the ideal holiday for others such as the Ibiza visitors it would be far from their normal habitual
life except for a dance round the campfire.

I must admit I haven’t been to Kadirs tree houses and only passing on my opinions. I shall also give as much information as possible without advertising.

I am a person who enjoys the outdoor life (As long as it is warm enough) and this kind of holiday does appeal to me and it may to many.

Tree house holidays are the up and coming holiday venture in Turkey and there are a few to pick from.

This particular holiday is based in Olympos near Antalya, which I must remind you is in the Malaria area of Turkey so being in the open would obviously pose a greater risk to infection. If you take quinine as prescribed by your doctor you will be sure of reducing the risk (Also try drinking Indian Tonic water which contains quinine).

Anyway back to the trees.

Over the last six years Kadirs has expanded rapidly. They now have 40 bungalows accommodating up to 90 people and 40 tree houses for another 145 people in addition to the camping grounds.
With a total capacity of over 230 people they are still able to offer meals and services to Olympos day-trippers and tourists.

At Kadir’s breakfast and dinner is always included in the price of a room. There are five options on the breakfast menu and the dinner buffet consists of up to five or six vegetarian and mainly vegitarian Cuisine with a meat dish twice a week.

There are two bars, serving guests from lunch until the last guest leaves, and a 150-seat seafood res
taurant and snack bar.

Services available are:

Laundry.
International Telephone.
Fax.
Internet access.
Satellite television.
Videos.
Volley ball.
Pingpong tables.

Tours are run nightly from Kadir’s to the mysterious eternal flames of Chimaera. Other excursions including boat trips to the sunken Lycian city of Kekova, trekking tours to the isolated mountain-top ruins of Kumluca and the white water rafting in the canyon.
