PanajiNewest Review: ... from the bench in the middle of the road. There are many great restaurants in Panaji, from local to tourist. I personnally favour a restaurant called "Delhi Darbhar". Its like going into an Inidian Restaurand in the UK in the 80's. It has the typical Indian restaurnat decoration and music playing, whilst you are greeted by doormen wearing pointy indian style shoes and headdresses. The fod is great, with the menu having a wide selection of curries. There is also a cinema which shows Indian and Western films. Panaji, or Panjim as it is also known, is the capital of the state of Goa in India. As capitals go, this is small in comparison to london and the like. Yet the city itself is still bussling with lots of activity. It is located relitavley middle on the state of goa's coastal belt. You can get a taxi to the town or a bus, as it is the main interchange for the buses to other parts of Goa and India. The buildings in the city are very old looking and are of Portuguese architecture. They are very pretty looking in many ranges of colours.
