I recommend to take a excursion to the gold circuit, incuiding Serra da Bocaina, take also your shorts but confortable shoes because this is an ecologic trip you you are going to wall a lot, this excursion consists on visiting waterfalls, the making of the pinga (its like strong vodka), and the root of the gold on brasil....a must! Another paradise lost, when i went to paraty the city the first look it seems like the Portuguese island Açores, the houses are the same there was 100 years ago, this is a small city but it have many things to explore, for all tastes, its not a beach city but it have near one of the beautiful beaches i ever shaw in my live, its called praia da Trindade, and its like a desert beach with the tropical forests onb the back, you have to pass on this to get on the beach but its beutifull, you have also natural pools on the sea, its mayor rocks that makes a wall and geep the water one this natural pools, for this i recomend to rent a car, its better, and its not ...
