Advantages: GREAT SEA TRIP, BEUTIFULL WATERFALLS, SELVAGE BEACH, NATURAL SEA POOL

Another paradise lost, when i went to paraty the city the first look it seems like the Portuguese island Açores, the houses are the same there was 100 years ago, this is a small city but it have many things to explore, for all tastes, its not a beach city but it have near one of the beautiful beaches i ever shaw in my live, its called praia da Trindade, and its like a desert beach with the tropical forests onb the back, you have to pass on this to get on the beach but its beutifull, you have also natural pools on the sea, its mayor rocks that makes a wall and geep the water one this natural pools, for this i recomend to rent a car, its better, and its not expessive.
I recommend to take a excursion to the gold circuit, incuiding Serra da Bocaina, take also your shorts but confortable shoes because this is an ecologic trip you you are going to wall a lot, this excursion consists on visiting waterfalls, the making of the pinga (its like strong vodka), and the root of the gold on brasil....a must!
For staying, you have two options the main pension of the center ( the best), Pousada Porto Imperial, or you can choise like me a out center pension, for this i recommend lagoa azul, its a small pension only 4 rooms, with pool managed by a old couple but very clean and excellent breakfast.
And at last, dont miss the boat trip to the islands, to get this go to the peer and ask for prices than for discounts, if you are a group better ask for discount and free snorking material, they always make discount so go for it, another option is lunch at board, say yes, its not expensive and the meal they serve is excellent, its fry fish but its a very white and fresh fish dont loose this.
Another recomendation is take your camera always with you because there is many places and thing to shoot!
As for food, all restaurants are good but the more you go away from the center the cheap the meal stays, i found a pizza house were we eat and dring very well,near the river about 6 blocks from the center, there is flyers of this restaurant on every pension.
