We first visited Southport resort which we found very dissapointing because staff there just didn't seem interested except for one girl which we did pass comments on to Pontins Customer Service about (she was great). We then decided to try Half Board at Blackpool and what a difference. We had a fantastic holiday the staff were always happy and smiling and ready to talk to you. The food was great, good choice for adult & kids. The rooms were fantastic our daughter took her friend and we had a connecting room so we could keep an eye on the girls but we had our privacy and they had theres, with 2 bathrooms and two teenagers it makes all the difference.

Summary: Blackpool resort is definatly worth more visits.

Perhaps you coul compare & contrast the differences between the 2 experiences from Pontins which would give us the reader a better knowledge and maybe something about costs also. Thanks Heather

Considering you had a negative experience at one resort, I am quite surprised that you gave the company a full five stars overall - that second resort must have been fantastic! As other members have mentioned, more detail about Pontins would be helpful;try to write for someone who has never been there and might be a potential consumer, and imagine what you might like to know in that situation. Think entertainment, food, prices, check in & out times, facilities and how easy it is to get to the resort.

Also to help improve you ratings you may want to include soem more information about what facilities are available, how clean the place was, the price etc.
Reading other people's reviews of similar items should help give you ideas.
