Well this was my lost stop on my roadtrip to brasil, i never heard about this place usualy we only heard from brasil is Beach cities like Rio de janeiro, but there is a lot of paradises all over Brasil.
Its seems easy to book on this resort, has he have 4 options, from the most expensive to the less expensive, the main hotel, the resort pension, the flats and the bongalos.
I made the choice to book on a flat with my other 3 friends, the first thing we notice when we arrived was the train of turist busses arriving, oh my god about 26 (i count) buses arrived at the same time we did, every week there is a theme, this week was the golden age (bad for us), so you could imagine about 300 old people booking, so we arrived to our main claim of this resort, the booking, we whait about 2 hours to get our key to our room, we understand that the reception (big one with 6 workers) had to book all that people but they should have a section for big groups and small/individual.
Finally we arrived to our room, and what a room, a duplex, with 3 tvs, 4 beds, 2 bathrooms, clean and a good view.
We didnt stop, just took a bath and whent looking for my parents ( they arrived a couple days after and stayed at the main hotel and others on the resort pension), at the hotel we find them eating. The hotel is nice but dont justify the diference of prices, i thing its because its near to the hotpark than the flats, we had to take a bus ( that passes every 15 minuts all day until midnight then you have hour by hour until 8am, but you can ask for a van....and its all free), the trip is about 15 minuts, its not far you take the same by foot, its because the bus has to go all around the 5 flat towers getting persons.
Well the first thing we all whanted to make was getting on the pool, so we jumped at the hotel pool, and uiiiii, do you see...the feeling when you went at a sea with cold water, well we had the same but with hot water, oh my, about 32ºdegress, and it was the coolest around because on the hot park all waters are higher that 32ºdegress.
After some jumps and drinks on the water ( there is bars and seats on all pools for eating and drinking), we decided to go to the flats to eat our lunch( we had the pack with breakfirst and lunch inclued and i recomend), and what a surprise, the best cosine hotel food i every eat, the service is eat what you can and until you can, there was no wine incluied but guess the beer is so you could imagine 4 beer machines working for you, the food was not only good but he had a great selection from meat to fish, from cheases to salades, from fruts to deserts. We manage to concluied also that old people can eat more than young people, heheheh.
After a siesta (to much food) at our flat, we whent to the hotpark, there is no words i can write to fully described this, you can imagine a valley and in the middle several natural hot water pools with whaterfalls, jungle,ending on a lake with 1 meter size fish fo snoorking and then at the end a watertube park ( to slide on the water and tubes), all incluid on the pack, 24hours open....a paradise.
So we start by the top pools, the vulcanic ones, you can even see the bubbles coming up in the middle of the little rocks. There is a small pool that the water comes at almost 60ºdegrees..more like a jakusi, and ofcorse underground the pool you have a turkis bath, i lost about 3 kilos there....
The beuty of all this is not only the natural pool and jungle around you, but that the water is always new, its a rivers that fill up the first one that passes to the second and it goes like that until the last one, everynight they empty one pool to cleam the floor so i cant grow erbs and other things.
At night we went to a show on a stage side the pools, it was nice, not very very nice just because it was for old people, but well made, with dance and music.
Next morning, we rush to the breakfirst, but the old brigade was there, the room have capacity to 200 people at the same time, so we only had to whait about 10 minuts.
The hot park part 2, after about 6 natural pools, you have a huge pool with a huge stage for life concerts, a smaller one for voley a and a suvenir zone. After that you enter on a new section open to comunity the hotpark tube, were you start to see a huge lake with realy big fishes and radical sports, like slide/canoo/snorking/jumping... and then the tubes, the section for childrens is excellent, lots of animation, and there is a huge can that fills and then get down to the people that passes, a must to all ages, ladys be carefull with the top bikini, or you get striped on this one heheheh.
Because of the size of this park and number of tubes you dont have to whait to long for a ride, this is good !
At night we found a disco, inside the resort, but there was just a couple of kids dancing arround, we manage to meet 3 hot girls in all the resort (clients the workers dont count), that was because the theme of that week "goolden age", in that night was special, not because of the hot chick but it was international day of the woman, so the resort made a live concert on the big pool stage, and all the womens were crasy, free cake and champanhe!!!
The next night we found another pleasure, swiming and sleeping on the water, because of the new friends we decided to pass the 24 hours on the pool and there was magic, as you can imagine because of the high temperature of the water and the down temperature of the night the water started to release a bit smoke, and the feeling of lawing on the pool at 4 am was........
But there is not only the pool to enjoy, we made the trial to the top of valey, its a bit hard because of the humity of the air and the hot temperatures, but you have to do do it!
At the end i was sad to leave, and i thing now how can it be on a normal young theme...super!
Next time im going to try the bomgalos, small individual houses in the middle of the jungle, the only bad thing they have is to lunch you have to go to a flat tower, no problem!
Oh i almost forgot, the resort uses a very good system of credit card...id card, they give you a card with a cord (i used mine on the pulse more safe but can use on the neck), this is very good because you dont have to carry any money or credit cards, you just use this card on any facility on the park and then pay at the end.
The bill, has i already said the card worked well, everyting was correct except the drinks on the minibar room, there was some over factured numbers, but we made a claim and no problem new bill with no error :)
So the pack is: room+lunch+breakfast+access to all pools and hotpark+buses and van, its not cheap but at the end you see the money well spend :)

Again i almost forgot the other bad point, the buses, they have buses up and down all day, and when you see such a nice nature and petrol buses making polution, you just imagine how good should be that they could use electric or gaz buses...

Summary: PARADISE TO ALL AGES!
