Prague is a beautiful city. It's the capital of the Czech Republic and the biggest city in the country.

I didn't really know what to expect from prague before I went. I knew it was beautiful from the pictures I've seen but you can't really appreciate it unless you are there. The streets are cobbled which makes it very atractive, the buildings are old very artistic and absolutely beautiful. There are lots of small side streets with sweet little shops and markets in the centre.

The main square is very pretty and bustling. I recommend sitting with a coffee here or a hot wine and watching the world go by. Take a trip over the Charles Bridge which is lovely and walk up the cobbled streets to Prage Castle situated on a hill overlooking the city.

I thought that the night life would be over run with stag dos but although there were a lot of groups on stag weekends, the nightlife was still good. There are lots of sweet little bars in the old town and some bigger clubs in the centre which are all very good.

One thing that disappointed me was that things really aren't cheap there. Apparently beer is cheap but in the centre you will pay £2 a pint. Food is cheaper than in the UK but not by much.

Overall a lovely city to visit. Very romantic. You don't need more than a few days there though unless you are planning to move on or you will run out of things to do.
