We visited Samoa during mid November 2008 as part of our honeymoon. Here are our do's and donts!

DONT:
Do not rent a car at Savaii Rentals, they only have cars in which somebody died allready or you might be the first one!!! Bad (and rude) service!

Do not stay in Kitano Hotels in Apia. Dirty, old, expensive, curtains were solving by themselves allready.

DO! / Positive review:

Do eat at Paddles in the harbour of Apia!!! Go there for diner, an afternoon beer, or the best fish and chips during lunch! The best food, the friendliest people!

Hotel Central in Apia: very good value for money! Friendly and cooperating staff. Little dissapointing breakfast, but hey, what to expect by those rates?

Salafai Inn: Go behind the outside and discover the inside. Friendly and cooperating staff, very good location at the harbour of Savaii. Spacious clean rooms, good fridge, inroom balcony.

Apia Rentals: Only has cars on Upolu, but you will get very good value and service for your money!

MUST SEE'S:
Blowholes on Savaii
Cape Mulinuu
Black sand beach Savaii (better than Upolu)
Lava fields
Sopoaga, great garden, nice people, best view on the falls.
Go around the islands in a 4x4
