Advantages: Not as busy as Magaluf

Disadvantages: it is abit far away from the airport

Santa Ponsa is one of the quiter town in Majorca, it is located about 45 minute journey from Palma (PMI) airport and cost about Euro45. I personally have been visting Santa Ponsa from a very young age and love going there every ear as we havea time share. There is quite a lot of night life in the main quarter for those are out there withut children, these night clubs are located near the beach and inlcude places like : cheekos: younish kind of bar, strings:mixed crowd with an excellent group, 3 girls and 3 boys who alternate each night, they sing a range of music, music for 80's right through, FAMA's:is more of a night club which has regular foam parties, although there has been a drop in attendance in last few years and is mainly attended by the spanish instead of the tourist, kitty o'she's: another night club which plays a selection of cheesy music.

FGor those who have children The Square is the place to go, they have nightly entertainment for the children and some sort of act on at night time, the rod stewart tribute act is one of my faves!!there are pubs which surround the square so you are able to go inside if it gets too chilly or you want to watch football rugby etc.

There is a very wide variety of restaurants in Santa Ponsa ranging from Italian, to mexican to Thai there is guranteed to be something for everyone.

There is the usual sunbathing and pool activites with aqua parks only a short taxi ride away and the marine land in close by magaluf.

Santa Ponsa is one of the nicer regions of the Island is not as busy as say Magaluf, it is certainly worth a visit.

Summary: An excellent holiday resort for all
