Sidari is a lovely place, we have just returned from a two week holiday there and had a great time. First of all I would like to address the (few) bad points about Sidari in general. The worst thing about Sidari is that there is a slight litter problem but nothing worse than a few plastic bags lying about and the odd bit of fly tipping. The sea is NOT full of sewage or rubbish its lovely and clear blue and usually quite warm as well. The second is that, as in all of Greece, you cannot put toilet paper down the toilets as the drains simply cannot cope. I would highly recommend Sidari, as I go every year with my family, and it gets better every time!! Sidari is situated North in Corfu. Sidari is about an hour away from the airport and about half an hour away from Corfu Town. Sidari is best suited for young people and families as there is lots to do. There are many places to eat out at reasonable prices, i would recommend 'The Three Little Pigs' and 'The Magic Wok' as the food at both these restaurants is fantastic. During the day Sidari is nice and peaceful, and at night it get more livlier but in a good way. There are many clubs and bars, i would recommend 'Calypso Cocktail Bar'. The beach is amazing, ... Me and my fiancé Dave were in Corfu just last week and although we stayed in a place called Canal D’amour, when we were looking at the brochures it was very attractive that there was a larger and busier resort just a 1km walk away called Sidari. On our second day on holiday we decided to go and have a walk there hoping that the descriptions of bustling shops, restaurants and bars and long golden sandy beach was accurate.
