Newest Review: ... for somewhere different to Prague or Amsterdam. The capital lies in South-Western Slovakia on the banks of the Danube. The old town is full of medieval towers and baroque palaces and there has been a castle (though not the present one) overlooking the city since the 10th century. I'm not going to include a full review for Bratislava here as it deserves a separate one in its own right, but this really is a vibrant city full of history and such good nightlife that the Austrians have been coming here over the border for years, the rest of Europe is just starting to catch on. i have just come back from the most wonderful, peacful vacation that i can last remember.

I was in a small town of Bardejov (Slovakia) where i met with some of my fiance's family. i spent some time in the town centre where there is so much history and tradition, wonderful places and tourist activities which are being made specifically to attract foreign travellers

well you may be surprised, but for a country not much visited
there is much to see and do

i stayed at a place called Sunnyside Farm translated Slnecny Majer

http://www.slnecnymajer.sk

i Think that this project and others in the country are the next best thing to quiet and peacful resort developments
1 hour to Tatra Mountains, waterparks and nearby ski slopes
and at their rates you could go there almost every month so to speak...

Its Lovely... check it out
