Lloret De Mar (Spain):
... went to lloret de mar with a group of my friends, there were 6 of us altogether aged, 21/22, 3 boys and 3 girls. We had wanted to go somewhere cheap and not too far away. (One of the girls doesnt like flying!). We found an all inclusive hotel for £400 for 1 week on the 13th June. There are plenty of shops in the town centre that will keep you busy, and bartering is also welcome there! The people were friendly ... Puerto de Pollensa ... along Pine Walk are just as good and a little bit nearer to the restaurants. The weather in Majorca can be varied. I have been in May before and it rained the entire week, but know people who have also been in May and been sweltering in 80 degree heat. So you take your chances - the Balaeric Islands always seem to bear the brunt of Spain s worst weather it seems! Best bets are July and August for practically guaranteed sunshine. Overall Puerto Pollensa is a place to go for a tranquill and relaxing break. If you want somewhere where they aren t hoardes of teenagers falling out of bars at night, and where you can relax during the day and eat good food at night and so... Holiday Resorts in Ibiza ... family and I have been to Ibiza a few times to a little quite part of the island called Portinax. It is a very quiet part of the island and is usually visted by older people and families. The main attraction for me was the beach. It is perfect for children with clean, clear blue water and is quite shallow so perfect for little ones. every time we go my husband always goes snorkling because the water is perfect for it. The beach is sandy and is very clean. It is cleaned every morning. The sun beds are a bit grubby and could do with an upgrading. We stayed in a hotel called "El Greco" which was fantastic. It was clean enough but could do with a little bi... Read the full review: El Greco Hotel, Portinax, Ibiza by jackie_w |

Cala D'or ... D or is a set of small sub-villages on the southern coast of Majorca (also known as Mallorca). We visited in April after booking a last minute deal. We booked through Thomas Cook and had 7 nights half board at the end of April for around £170 each (not including insurance). When we booked this holiday we really didn t know what to expect, simply because quite frankly we had no idea where Cala D or was in relation to the rest of Majorca and primarilly its capital, Palma. Anyway, we soon learnt that Cala D or is infact basically the other side of the island to Palma. It is about 40 miles away which we found to be around a 1 and a half hour drive. Cala D or consis...
