mejulie999 Santa Ponsa: ... have had the pleasure of visiting Santa Ponsa on no less than 6 occassions over a 15 year period, and it has to be one of my favourite places in Mallorca. Only about 40 mins from the airport, it is to the South of the Island, about 15 mins from Magalluf, but far enough away from the rowdiness. Santa Ponsa nestles around the beautiful beach in a horse shoe shape and is wonderful for families and couples. The lef...

Destination International - Santa Ponsa Santa Ponsa
Destination International / Mallorca. There are two top golf courses in Santa Ponsa but visitors are only allowed to use the Santa Ponsa I course which, like Santa Ponsa II, has hosted a PGA European Tour event. - Located 30 km from Palma on Majorca's southwest coast, Santa Ponsa has grown in and around a wide and de...

nigelcross Puerto Banus (Marbella, Spain)
... Banus is a great place to visit. It is a port not far from Malaga and is the home to many rich and famous people. The marina is awash with swanky boats. Its interesting to take a walk along just to look at the various boats and their occupants. By the marina are a range of shops and bars. If you dont mind paying £4 for a cup of tea you can stop off for a drink and watch the people go by. The shops are also expensive but more touristy than the ones on the next row back. On this row you will find all the designer shops such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and Rolex. These are great to have a nose around but the prices are astronomical. If you get chance to visit...

catherine21 Puerto de la Cruz
... de la Cruz is a resort in the north of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Most of the tourist resorts in Tenerife such as Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos are in the south of the island near the main airport. One downside to being in the North is that it is approximately a 1 1/2 hour drive to the resort, however I think it is well worth this journey time. The south of the island is filled with high rise hotels, English restaurants and English tourists. If you are looking for England with sunshine (as lots of people are) then the resorts in southern Tenerife are perfect, but personally I prefer the much more Spanish feeling in the north of the island. Puer...

saramac Mallorca
... is one of five islands called the Balearics, the other four being- Ibiza, Menorca, Formentera and Cabrera. They are situated just off Spain , you can take ferries from Barcelona or Valencia to Mallorca. The flight lasts approx two hours and fifteen minutes from Britain. Me and Mallorca- ~~~~~~~~~~ Any one having read my previous review (sadly in the wrong category), will know of my Love for the island of Mallorca and the fact my Sister has a house not far from the old town of Pollenca so enabling us to visit quite regularly (not regularly enough though, Ive even considered "squatters rights" but don t know if they exsist in Mallorca). I will give you a...
