Sa Coma:
... Coma is situated on the east coast os Majorca aka Mallorca - almost midway between Cala Millor and Porto Cristo. Its approx 65km from the airport - which can take up to 2 hr transfer time to your hotel. Sa Coma is a modern purpose built resort that started getting more popular in the 1980 s and since has continued to grow. It offers a great selection of bars, restaurants and souvenier shops - many of which a... Read the full review: Sa Coma - a relaxing holiday for the family by Bewitched |

Soller ... town of Soller in actually deep in the mountain range of Sierra De Tramuntana - which is approx 1445m above sea levels (the highest mountain in Majorca / Mallorca). The resort stretches out over a 44km area - and reaches the west coast of the island too. Its approx 35k from the airport - it used to take a few hours to get to the resort after driving around winding little roads to get around the mountain that isolates the resort - however since the motorway & Tunel de Soller opened - its cut the tranfers time to approx 45 mins. The actual resort of Puerto de Soller is an almost perfect horse shoe bay Approx 3km inland is the actual town of Soller - and the ... Cala Millor ... Millor is a more modern and larger resort on the east coast. Its approx 2 hours transder from the airport - but it is a nice enough journey once off the motorway , there is a nice scenic route. Most of the east coast is made up of tiny coves, however the beach at Cala Millor is approx 6 km long and is a lovely sheltered beach. This beach is considered to be one of the best on the island - and I have to agree with this too! It has beautiful clear warm waters and slightly sloping sands. You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas at several locations along the beach. There is also a selection of watersports here and a windsurfing school too - which really is good fun! T... Porto Colom (Mallorca) ... resort of Porto Colom is in the Felanitx area of Majorca/ Mallorca. The resort is approx 60 km or so and to be honest - its not a very good road to travel - and the transfer could take anything up to 2 hours. Porto Colom is the resort best preserved . There is a buriel site here called Naveta - and its this reason that the resort has been kept most like its historical state than the other resorts on the island that have been modernised. It also still remains a fishing village and is not fully tourist commercialised. The main feature of the little town is the large natural harbour - and its lovely to walk around and see the fishing boats. Around the harbour ar...
