Stoeng Treng

Stung Treng is little more than a border region and Stung Treng town the provincial capital borders Laos and you will most likely end up here if the border crossing is closed into Laos. Stung Treng is one of the few places outside of Lao where you can exchange any Lao Kip that you have left over. This is your last chance so even if the exchange rate is unfavourable you should probably just bite the bullet and exchange here.
