Sunny BeachNewest Review: ... beach on the other side, so walk straight down the road and you can make your way through the bars :) I would definately say that this part of Bulgaria is aimed at those who enjoy a night life, not necessarily younger people, but those who dont mind a bit of music and livliness. Because we stayed half board we got breakfast and dinner at our hotel (not that we ever made it up in time for breakfast ooops) so we generally ate out for lunch and a couple of times for dinner. The food and drink prices are definately a perk for holidaying here. For 2 pizzas, pasta dish, salad and 3 drinks we paid less than 35 lev, which is around £17.50. A... more |

Having just come back from a week in Sunny Beach Bulgaria I decided I should write a review about the whole holiday. We flew out on Monday 31st from Manchester airport to Bourgas. The first thing I noticed upon arriving at Bourgas airport is how tiny it is, especially in comaparison to what we take for granted in Manchester. The toilet facilities for all of arrivals were..... 2 cublicles for women, one of which was broken. So first impressions wernt great but Im informed this is because they havnt had time to catch up with the influx of new tourism. The coach journey to out hotel was less than half an hour, and after pulling through Sunny Beach ... Read the complete review

I went to Sunny beach on the western coast of Bulgaria last summer and as far as a tourist destination, it was perfect. Full of pubs for the British punters, British food and English speakers. As far as a cultural holiday, it was nothing like it, the only sense of Bulgarian culture was the bus drive through the very poor areas of grasslands. There was a lovely little town called nessebar, which was a short train ride from sunny beach. It was one of those sleepy little towns which survives only on the input from tourists. Anyway back to sunny beach, the place is exactly what the name says, really sunny. The beach has blue seas, and sand shipped ... Read the complete review

When I visited Sunny Beach, it had been my first time in Bulgaria and I was pleasantly suprised by it. The weather was hot and there was plenty to do. The sea was lovely and warm, and there weren't vicious sea creatures living in it:D you couldn't possibly get a better holiday. Walking down the promenade there were plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars, you were spoilt for choice really. There were mexican restaurants, chinese restaurants, pizza restaurants and loads more types. The food was great and so were the cocktails! There was always plenty of entertainment along the promenade and beach, like bungee trampolines and little rides like ... Read the complete review

When my boyfriend told me that his auntie had bought an apartment in Bulgaria and that we were going on holiday there my first thought was why? I had never thought about going to Bulgaria for a holiday, I'm used to a clubbing holiday and Bulgaria just didn't appeal to me. We looked at some flights and found one at just £304 for the two of us so I thought cheap holiday! We arrived at Bourgas airport, which is the most convenient for Sunny beach. The security at the airport is very tight and it can take a while to get through all the check points but at least it's good. We were staying at the Elite 3 apartment's which is part of an ...
