Advantages: Loads of space of children to play

Disadvantages: Inappropriate entertainment for children at the resident pub, The Stags Head

We recently visited the Sussex Beach Holiday Village and although we thought it was a very pleasant location in terms of ameneties for both adutls and children, we were disappointed when we attended a family evening at The Stags Head, the on site pub. The evening comprised of a casino for adutls and children alike, where Sussex Beach Dollars could be acculated for goods on display later in the evening, which could be bidded for.. Not only we were very taken aback at the time that this bidding session took place, which was 11.15 pm, we were appalled at the jokes and the language being used by Terry, the resident singer and comedian - absolutely shocking, and totally inappropriate for the children present, some of whom were almost asleep by the time the event took place. Surely if the evening is promoted as a family evening, it be as such, not a platform for tasteless jokes and bad language. We would be unable to promote the Sussex Holiday Village as a true family destination!

Summary: Good location, but cannot be promoted as an ideal family destination
