The beach itself comes into view and it can not fail to amaze you, it is absolutely stunning and beatiful, an unspoilt gleaming white sand beach...thats deserted! Otarawairere Bay is on North Island in the Bay Of Plenty. It is between Whakatane and Ohope and is one of those secret beaches that all the locals go to but unless youre in the know you wouldnt know it was there or how to get there. It can be reached on foot from Whakatane, Ohope or Westend and takes around 20 minutes or so depending on your capabilities.
