Cool Breeze! What can I say? I agree with you about La Villa. Food is nice, staff friendly and the sunset on the tarrace is unbelievable. They do a lovely peppered steak. We discovered it last year and are planning to go back this year too. In the meantime, found their website http://lavillarestaurant.blogspot.com/ - has some funny pictures of the staff I remember.
From the beach boy to the waiters and the owners, La Villa was our favourite restaurant too.

Turgutreis is an absolute gem of a town on the Bodrum Peninsula. It is a military town which has a peaceful, laid back atmosphere and the views are breathtaking, so for those who enjoy a them, a hotel with a sea view is a must. There are plenty of hotels to choose from. For an up-market stay, try the Kortan Hotel. This is a small "Boutique" hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere but you will not find this hotel in any travel agents brochure. It is frequented by wealthy Turkish families and foreign travellers who are looking to avoid the noise and "holiday camp" atmosphere of the usual tour operator hotels. Turgutreis is set on the Bodrum peninsula of Turkey, with a wonderful sandy beach on to the Aegean Sea. The Greek island of Kos is clearly visible across the water and yet, you are culturally a million miles away from Greece Welcome to Turgutreis. This is a two part review. I have chosen to review the resort and the apartments I used separately as the experience was so very different. Turgutreis is a military town.
