Advantages: Great

Disadvantages: Over- crowded

The city was illuminated with bright lights as night slowly began to fall. The giant skyscraper stood tall in the centre of the city. Its sheer size made it full of authority as it looked down on the other smaller buildings; like a fatherly figure.

The temperature was beginning to drop rapidly as the heat of the afternoon sun had died down. The doors of the mammoth sized shops kept opening and closing as it was the peak time for customers in the late night shopping capital of the world.

The sound of the yellow taxis swerving around the corners can be heard as they horn and beep their ways around the city in attempt to arrive where ever they want as quickly as possible. With every taxi looking almost identical with the advertising board across the top of the taxi and its distinct mustard yellow colour; this really gave a uniform like feel to the city. It was almost like a trademark, exclusive to New York.

Many tourists began to wonder around this city. The city with such as reputation. The short, stocky, Italian ice-cream man wondered around with his baseball cap on his head trying to promote his appetising ice-cream. At the same time as fast food outlets came into play. There is a array of different scents of enticing foods such as coffee, ‘donuts’, and burgers. There is also a smell of waste gases caused by the vast amount of vehicles transporting themselves from A to B.

The illumination of the city began to take full flow as night-time arrived, with lights every where from the shop window to the advertising screens to the lights on people mobile phones.

There was a certain chill about in the air now, as the wind begins to whistle. The clouds are grey and overpowering and rain is inevitable. The optimistic tourists continue walking along enjoying the lively hustle and bustle of the energetic and vibrant city.

Summary: Fab City!
