Culver Pier, Sandown (Isle of Wight):
... is one of the most popular towns on the Isle of Wight with tourists from all over the world, largely due to its wide variety of attractions, including its iconic pier. The pier was originally built over three years from 1867 to 1870, however it has undergone many dramatic facelifts since then, including a massive extension to the 870ft length it is now, eventually resulting in the popular attraction it is to... Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail ... next to the busy River Bure in the Norfolk Broads there s a nature reserve that seems almost prehistoric; a land that time has forgotten. Huge royal ferns tower over visitors heads. Willow trees, rooting in mud and water, form an impenetrable barrier, preventing the light from reaching the ground and creating a gloomy, eerie landscape. Dangerously deep marshland waits to trap the unwary tourist who steps off the path. Despite its ancient aspect, Hoveton Great Broad is a man made environment. Created several hundred years ago by human peat diggers, the shallow lake that formed has now been flooded, creating a lake, around which woodland and fenland has grown, cre... Croydon in General ... is absolutely nothing wrong with Croydon, although it does seem to have a really bad reputation. Travel links to this town are amazing. From East Croydon you can get to the South of England (Brighton and Portsmouth) easily with direct trains running every hour. Gatwick airport can be accessed within twenty minutes with many direct trains every hour, and London Bridge, Waterloo and London Victoria also have direct trains that take approximately 30 mins all day. There is also a tram link that links the east of the borough to Wimbledon. This is maintained really well and is a lot cheaper than trying to drive. Buses also link Croydon to all the surrounding neighbo... Read the full review: Great shopping by ikklejojo |

Blackpool in General ... review isn t so much about all the various attractions at Blackpool (although I will be mentioning them), I m going to talk about the 2 sides to Blackpool; the family friendly side and the altogether more sleazy side. I have mixed feelings about Blackpool, part of me is filled with fun loving memories of family holidays in Blackpool when I was younger, the other part knows how sleazy it has become, a town where booze and sex are seeping out the door ways of every pub, bar and nightclub you come across. When I was younger my family didn t have much money and Blackpool was a fairly cheap, fun holiday. The weather wasn t always great but there was (and still is) lots...
