What a pretty little place (Arundel in General)

Arundel is a picturesque little town in West Sussex. I grew up a few miles from Arundel and I never fully appreciated it. In fact, I thought it was boring because I wasn't interested in looking at lovely scenery as a child. As an adult who now lives over 200 miles from Arundel, I love to visit when I am back in the South.

Arundel is a small town situated on a hill. It is very attractive and ye-oldie with it's many antique shops, coffee shops and arty boutiques and galleries. The town itself is built on a steep hill which adds to it's attractiveness and uniqueness and it looks beautiful when you get to the top and look down.

At the top of the hill is the wonderful Arundel Castle. The Castle is still in excellent condition and you are able to go inside to view the rooms which are still intact and fitted with old furniture and paintings. As the Castle is on a hill it is the first thing you see as you round the corner to Arundel and is a spectactular sight.

Another highlight of Arundel is that the River Arun runs through it so there are lovely walks along the river where people take boat trips which give excellent views of the castle.

Arundel is a beautiful place and you should definately visit if you are in the area.
