The village itself is much like any other with a variety of small independent local shops. However, Barrowford has a few other surprises with some good designer clothes shops including The Last Trading Post and Velvet for women and Scruples for men. Barrowford [Background: I would be grateful to the readers of Dooyoo for understanding in advance if I am being slightly self-indulgent for once, but I would like to share the lowdown on the village where I live.
