I used to live there, a small village in Bedfordshire. Easy place to get to, it sits right on the A1.
It's a small village, very pretty and quiet. Not much going on there. Very close to some big cities - Peterborough, Cambridge, Stevenage and Bedford. London is 45 mins away on the train.
I liked it there, being so close to them cities, but being close enough away to feel out in the country. I suppose it is a commuter village which makes it quite expensive to live there.
There isn't that much in terms of tourist attractions unless you count Jordan's, MS George (neutrodol producers) and my sister, but it is a nice place to live. It hosts a carnival once a year, but other than that there is little to see. It has one large secondary school, a vocational college, several churches and a railway station. Not a bad night out, but if you want to go clubbing you have to travel to one of the cities which makes a night out quite expensive.
The scenery around it is lovely, the only downside to this is it's a farming area and the main produce is brussel sprouts which tends to make summer smell a bit odd.
