Disadvantages: a great time to be had

We went to Blackpool on a couch tour last year. Our stay in the Stuart hotel was very enjoyable. The room was on the second floor and the only disadvantage was the very narrow staircase and no elevator. however the room was lovely and very clean and warm. The meals were excellent and there was a good choice on the menu.
Blackpool was very good itself. Lots of entertainment at the Central Pier and Winter Gardens. We never actually went to see a show as we were only there 4 days, but there were some good acts.
The Pleasure Beach was good to visit as i hadnt been there for many years and a lot had changed, but for the price of a wristband you can spend all day on and off the rides plus get to see a show for free which was value for money.
There are good place for eating out and if you enjoy Chinese food Mr Foos restaurant on the south shore is excellent and cheap as well.
Plenty of shops and markets to look round and some good bargains to be had.
I would recommend Blackpool to anyone looking for a vacation in Britain.

Summary: A great holiday town.
