Advantages: shops, hospital, priory

Disadvantages: not wheelchair friendly,

Bury St Edmunds is just about 16 miles from my home town of Haverhill (also in Suffolk). I am in a wheelchair, and find that Bury St Edmunds isn't wheelchair friendly at all.

However, it is a pretty town with a priory,(complete with a some caged birds and wild ducks+geese). Where on a nice summers day you could spend the day with a picnic!

The town has a vast selection of shop's, although many of the big stores are out of the town centre, and require transport.

While Bury is a pretty nice town, it is by far my favourite!
