I've lived in Cardiff for 8 years now and I'm very happy here. I moved here to go to University, moved away when I had finished and then came back. I've been here ever since.

I have lived all over the city in various parts and obviously some are better than others but on the whole, I think Cardiff is a great place to live. It's a safe city (as cities go) and has a friendly atmosphere. It's multicultural with many English settlers (like me) as well as many people from other nationalities. I really like this about it. You also then have the Welsh Speakers which adds another multicultural dimension. The Welsh are very proud of their heritage which i great.

The city is quite small but not too small so that it becomes boring when you've lived here a while. It is small enough to make it less inpersonal than bigger cities like London and Manchester and there is a friendly welcoming feel.

There is plenty to do here, bars, clubs, museaums, shopping and the city is having a new shopping centre added to.

A great place to visit and live.
