Newest Review: ... places that I have driven past on a number of occasions since when I visit my parents. The other day I decided to call and do a bit of shopping and was pleasently surprised. Carmarthen has changed drastically since my college days. The centre of Carmarthen has been closed to traffic and the number of shops has grown drastically. There are computer shops, some trendy cafes and even a MacDonalds. The pubs have been done out and the whole outlook of the city has changed. Its now a city that looks affluent and not rundown. Merlins tree has now been cut down and Carmarthen is still afloat. The old tree used to stand proud as you entered Carmarthen and the old story was that if you cut it down it then Carmarthen would be flooded. I went to college in Carmarthen and its one of those places that I have driven past on a number of occasions since when I visit my parents.
