We have been going to centerparcs in the UK now for many years....with friends with kids we have booked adjacent villas and had a great time...we have been on a "child free " break with friends...and last year for the first time , we went to Sherwood for the christmas week...
I just have to say that it was a wonderful experience...we pre.ordered lots of items to be ready on arrival....we had logfires every night....I cooked a complete christmas dinner ..it was so easy in such a well equipped villa!!
The best thing for the children was "swimming in the dark"..the pool is a magical wonderland when illuminated at night...and for me it seemed surreal to be zooming down the wild water rapids in December with staem rising all around you....
SSSHHH..don`t tell the kids..but we`re off to Longleat after christmas just for the weekend with 5 other couples for a 40th birthday party.......JUST GROWN UPS!!!
But we are planning to take them agian in 2001....HONEST!!!!
