Alot of that does come from its large Scottish population, but all nationalities are welcome. Corby has undergone a few changes in the last decade, some were not welcomed at the time (such as the 'revamp of the town centre') but upon reflection, most people feel the improvements. I am originally from Corby, and in a way I couldn't wait to get away...until I got away. Since being away at uni, it is nice to get back to my home town. Anyone who knows Corby immediately thinks of the bad reputation the town has, which is itself outdated.
