Despite most opinions, Coventry is a great city with lots to do for everyone. The city itself has a great variety of shops and department stores, for those that need a bit of retail therapy. It also has several very interesting museums and galleries, I would particularly recommend the British Road Transport Musem. However the most famous landmark is the New Cathedral, built as a replacement for the one destroyed in the Blitz. It also has great facilities for sport and leisure activities and a Premiership club.
Coventry is in an excellent location for surrounding areas, such as Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and it is only twenty minutes from Birmingham and ten minutes from Birmingham International Airport.
Give Coventry a try, you might just like it.
