I have lived in Burnley all my life, so 18 years, and I have only recently moved away to go to university. I love living in Burnley, regardless of what people say about it and the bad press it gets. There are bad parts of Burnley but there are bad parts and run down parts of every town. Evidently Country Life Magazine voted Midhurst as the most desirable place to live in Southern England in 2004. I don t know if I can whole-heartedly agree with that, as there are many lovely towns and villages in West Sussex, but Midhurst is a remarkably pleasant place to while away a few hours. The town itself is very compact and easily covered on foot. One of its most famous residents HG Wells (author of "War of the Worlds&...
