Advantages: cutty sark and Royal Observatory are there
Disadvantages: no parking, overrun in the summer
In Greenwich the Cutty Sark has been redeveloped. Shopping has improved with the opening of a new Waitrose supermarket. But it is over crowded with tourists in the summer. Begging takes place at the weekend with people coming into the area especially to beg from nearly Deptford and Rotherhithe Council Estates.
Greenwich has a market and a comedy club.
There is an observatory which has got nothing in it just an empty room with information written on the walls. A naval college which closed down years ago and parking is not allowed until after 6.30 in the evening on any street.
Some of the housing is amazingly expensive new flats are going up all the time but next door are the disgusting people who live in council flats. London the contrast between the rich and poor is there for everyone to see but no one notices as it has always been like that for hundreds of years so everyone even the the tourist is blind to it some have rose spectacles due to the Olympics having taken place in Greenwich.
Summary: Being developed all the time
