Advantages: Superb transport links

Disadvantages: None that I can see

If I had to move anywhere any the country, then Guildford would be pretty near the top of my list. That isn't necessarily because of what it offers, but because of its location.

The railway station is very close to the town with regular trains too and from London. There are also regular services to Reading and to stations on the South Coast. The town also has a good number of car parks and is easily accessed from the major routes.

I find that the town is compact and has all the major high street shops that one would expect. This is supplemented by some smaller boutique type shops offering a variety of goods and services for the more specialist market.

I have always found the people to be friendly and welcoming, and the town is well-kept, clean and tidy. It combines the modern with the traditional and I sure has something to offer whatever your reason for visiting.

Summary: A really excellent small town with good transport links and other ammenities one might expect
