Newest Review: ... I love it. There is always something to do and the transport links to the rest of London including the centre is amazing, it is a short bus ride to Bethnal Green tube station if you enjoy using the underground, or if you prefer to stick to the buses, you can get a 55 direct to the west end in about 30 mins. There are of course some not so nice places in the borough, but I supppose this is the same as anywhere, London fields is a great place to spend an afternoon, lots of really nice pubs and restaurants and all reasonably priced... broadway market is amazing, it can be a lovley day out and you cans spend as much or as little money as you... more

Having moved east to hackney after being priced out of what is not the super trendy Stoke Newington, I thought I was getting a rough deal. However, after only 3 months here I love it. There is always something to do and the transport links to the rest of London including the centre is amazing, it is a short bus ride to Bethnal Green tube station if you enjoy using the underground, or if you prefer to stick to the buses, you can get a 55 direct to the west end in about 30 mins.
