I have booked 4 mini breaks with Hoseasons in the last 3 years. The first 3 were all in the same place, Dacre Park in Driffield North Yorkshire.
We originally came across Hoseasons as were looking for a luxury lodge with hot tub to surprise our friend for her 40th birthday. We had a 6 birth lodge with one double bedroom and en suite and 2 twin rooms with a bathroom. The living space was encompassed with the kitchen and dining room and it was nice and large so it was a great social space.
The lodges are only a few years old but ours had a flat screen TV and DVD player, dishwasher, microwave and utensils for 6. The hot tub was lovely too and seated 6 of us comfortably. The park also supplied us with white towelling dressing gowns and disposable slippers which was a lovely touch. The cost of the lodge was around £360.00 for 3 nights...between the 6 of us it was a bargain!
I then went back again the following year with my boyfriend and we stayed in a 1 bedroom lodge which was very luxurious! It had a 4 poster bed and dressing room. The bathroom was huge and had a free standing bath and a walk in shower... The living space encompassed the dining room, sofa and kitchen and they even provided a dishwasher for this 1 bed too which surprised me. We paid £360 again for 3 nights so it was the same price as the 6 berth but it was more luxurious and worth it..
Again we were provided with robes and slippers and the lodge had under floor heating as well which was great! There was a TV in both the lounge and the bedroom...
We then went back again last year to the 1 bed again and the prices hadn't really changed and the cleanliness was still as high standard as before. We also noticed they are building some more lodges so looks like there could be some more newer ones coming up!
I also find the staff there very friendly and the odd job man lives on site so is always around if you need anything or have any questions (as we couldn't work out our heating initially!)
I've booked some apartments in London for July so I'll update my review when I've stayed there but if its anything like the lodges I will definitely be pleased! For me, hoseason lodges are very well priced and a bit of a bargain when you look at the competitors!
You can book online too which makes it nice and easy and when I booked 2 lodges last year they did contact me just to check this was correct which I thought was a nice touch..
Summary: Hoseasons are my first port of call for any mini breaks in the UK....
