Advantages: Searles site is excellent

Disadvantages: not a lot there for more than a weeks stay.

An excellent caravan site.

We went here through one of the cheapy holidays you get in the Daily papers. It wasn`t our first choice, but we were willing to go anywhere. We did`nt expect to much, considering how little it had cost.

We were so suprised when we arrived at Searles, at more so when we see the Caravan.
The caravan was excellent! So clean & modern, there wasn`t a single thing to fault. There was even a outdoor barbecue, table & chairs.

The site is great, everywhere is so clean & tidy..if they were to give stars for caravan sites this deserves to be 5 star.

There is all you need on site, Lovely clean swimming pool, shop, takeaway etc.
The club is really good, the kids entetainer was excellent.
There is a bar attached for adults only...good if you don`t have kids. There was also a good restaurant & a kids amusement arcade.

Our kids loved the ducks that came to the door each morning for whatever food we had to offer.

It is just a really short walk from the town & beach.
The town is not too big, but has all the shops you may need.
There are childrens Amusements along the front & rides.
Theres a train which takes you along the seafront which the kids loved.
Also on the front is a Sealife Centre, which if there are a few of you can work out expensive. As we have been to Seaworld Florida, I found this a big let down, although the kids liked it. If you have not been to a Sealife centre though, I`m sure you will appreciate it..and not be as critical as I was.

At the time we had no car, but this was no problem, we got a train into Kings Lynn and then a taxi from outside the station straight to reception & we arranged for the same taxi to pick us up. It wasnt too far so the taxi didn`t cost too much.

If you are planning on staying in Hunstanton, then I highly recommend Searles...if you don`t want to pay full price it`s worth collecting the tokens in the paper!
