Advantages: Built up, good facilities, wildlife, night life, good town

Disadvantages: Bad press, certain areas rough

Ipswich town is the county town of suffolk and is one of its biggest towns with over 128,000 inhabitants. Ipswich is one of Englands oldest towns and began to take shape in the Anglo-Saxon times aswell as forming an important route to access local docks and coastal areas during the roman times. There was also a period called Ipswichian before the last ice age over 120,000 years ago which is where ipswich got its name from.

Although Ipswich has had some bad press recently mainly due to the recent prostitutes killings aswell as featuring on Britians roughest pubs it is usually a calm and relaxing village with alot of history behind it.

As Ipswich is out in the sticks there is also alot of wildlife around this area although it is beggining to be spoilt as it has recently undergone an extensive gentrification programme.

They have a very busy town with many well known shops in and a good night life around the busy area of cardinal park.

Ipswich is also known for having a successful football club ITFC (Ipswich Town Football Club).

Summary: Nice town or not?
